Who we are
Birthday Chorus LLC is a Florida limited liability company. Christopher Mosquera is the sole member. The live website is birthdaychorus.com.
The gift
Birthday Chorus is a personal gift product. An organizer invites friends to record themselves singing. We stitch those takes into one short keepsake video. You can watch it, download it, and share the Watch link while the video is still online.
One-time unlock
Unlocking a finished chorus is a one-time purchase for that gift — not a subscription, and not a license to keep using the service forever. During the free preview, choruses you start now stay free to finish. When paid checkout is live, you unlock that chorus once you’ve paid for it.
Paying does not change how long we keep the files. The finished video still comes down about 30 days after it is ready. See Privacy for the full retention rules.
Acceptable use
Use Birthday Chorus for real birthday gifts among people who agreed to take part. Don’t:
- Record or upload someone else’s face or voice unless you have the right to do that.
- Post illegal content, hate, threats, or sexual content involving anyone under 18.
- Harass, impersonate, spam, or use the gift to embarrass someone in a cruel way.
- Attack, scrape, or try to break the service, or probe other people’s choruses.
- Create a chorus or record a take if you are under 13.
We can refuse, pause, or delete a chorus that breaks these rules.
Age
Birthday Chorus is for people 13 and older. Don’t invite anyone under 13. If we learn someone is under 13, we delete their data and stop contacting them.
Your recordings
By creating a chorus or recording a take, you give Birthday Chorus a limited license to stitch the video and audio into one gift and deliver it on the Watch page.
You promise you have that right — you are in the video, or the people who recorded agreed. We use the recordings only to make and deliver the gift. We do not sell your videos.
Watch links
A Watch link is a shareable secret, more like an unlisted video than a public gallery. Anyone who has the link can play and download the gift while it is still up. If you forward it, those people can open it too. We do not list gifts for the open web to browse.
How long files stay up
Finished video: about 30 days after it is ready, then we delete it. Raw clips: about 7 days after Generate. Idle choruses that were never generated: about 30 days after last activity. Download a copy if you want to keep it. Details live in Privacy.
If something goes wrong
The service is provided as-is. Phones, cameras, mics, and internet connections fail sometimes. We do not promise a particular quality of recording, that Generate will always succeed, or that a gift will stay online past the window above.
As far as the law allows, Birthday Chorus LLC is not responsible for indirect harm — for example lost profits, hurt feelings, a gift that didn’t land the way you hoped, or someone forwarding a Watch link. If we are responsible for a problem with a paid unlock, our total responsibility for that chorus is limited to what you paid us for it. During the free preview, that amount is $0.
Florida law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without looking to conflict-of-law rules. If we ever end up in court, Florida courts can hear it.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is in our Privacy notice. That notice is also a plain-English draft, not a lawyer-final policy.
